Taking place in October, to say the Esquire team are keen is an understatement.
Australia is truly lucky when it comes to the quality of food and wine regions, and the fact we celebrate them with their own localised festivals is just *chef’s kiss*.
Orange Wine Festival promises an enormous 40 events across 10 days, where you can experience some of the region’s best produce and vintages.
Arrive light, leave a little heavier and a lot happier.
The Midnight Heure d’Ici & Heure d’Ailleurs from Van Cleef & Arpels
The Heure d’Ici & Heure d’Ailleurs has been described by watch pundits as one of the most elegant men’s watches on the market.
The Midnight variation launched at this year’s Watches and Wonders, and it has been an obsession around the office ever since for its perfect balance betwee form and function.
The deep brown 18k rose gold case and black leather strap are basically screaming, in the quietest of quiet-luxury voices, good taste. The dual-time feature is effectively subtle – each window reflecting a time here / time there.

A table at the Arkhé x The Grill exclusive dinner
It’s the season for residencies! This time, it’s Sydney dining spot The Grill hosting an exclusive dinner helmed by Jake Kellie this Friday, 28 August.
Kellie is one of Australia’s most acclaimed live-fire chefs and the man behind Adelaide’s incredible Arkhé restaurant. The collaboration is a part of the Pointe Group’s Winter of Whisky and upon arrival you’ll be handed a glass of Johnnie Walker Citrus Assassin. As far as the menu – expect oysters and fire-driven snacks through Australian seafood, exceptional beef and black truffle.
