AARON TAYLOR-JOHNSON is a very handsome man who wears very handsome watches. That’s been especially true over the past year, ever since he signed on to become an ambassador for Swiss watch giant Omega.

From his trusty Speedmaster Moonwatch Professional to the Seamaster Planet Ocean 600M he wore to the Winter Olympics, the British actor has been flashing some of the brand’s most covetable timepieces on the red carpet and beyond for a while. But at yesterday’s London premiere of his explosive new heist thriller Fuze, he opted for something suitably rugged. Namely, the Seamaster Diver 300M. Then he kept it on for today’s windy photocall, too.

The Seamaster line dates back to 1948, but the Diver 300M itself debuted in 1993 – and it’s been one of the brand’s most popular offerings since then. Needless to say, its connection to James Bond has a big part to play – it appeared in 1995’s GoldenEye and the range has been a perma-presence since then. Omega even marked their long-running relationship with 007 with a special edition “tropical” brown dial Diver around the release of No Time To Die. But the price point has always been a major plus point, too.

You can currently get your hands on Taylor-Johnson’s stainless steel and rubber model for $9,925 – a good deal for a dive watch of this kind of quality and cache. It’s been refreshed and upgraded over the years – the actor’s specific model was introduced in 2018 – but the new iterations, including last year’s orange-accented release, have never strayed far from the original’s bold and adaptable design language.

So, make like Taylor-Johnson and invest in one of the best entry-level luxury dive watches on the market – and take a look at his wider collection here.
