Andrew Garfield and Timothée Chalamet can't get enough of this cult Adidas trainer collab
The Adidas x Clot kicks are doing the rounds
LAST MONTH, Timothée Chalamet carried the official Trionda Final ball onto the pitch for the World Cup final. As you do, eh? The actor was decked out in Adidas, as he so often is these days. Up top, he wore a royal-blue, retro-inspired sweatshirt, but his kicks were the main story: a pair of Adidas Sambas designed in collaboration with Edison Chen’s streetwear label CLOT. Wrapped in woven raffia, they were a unique take on the German brand’s OG shoe, with an espadrille base giving them a completely new look.
Now it seems there’s another CLOT fan in Hollywood. Yesterday, Andrew Garfield attended the New York premiere of his girlfriend Monica Barbaro’s film One Night Only (you know, the one with Callum Turner). He suited up in custom Casely-Hayford, but on his feet wore a pair of Adidas trainers from the same CLOT collaboration: the Adidas Gazelle Crepe Sole Pack in “Cream White”, released in April 2025. They have a silky, embroidered upper, while the gum sole is thicker than on your standard Gazelles. It’s no surprise Garfield has a pair: he’s a bona fide Adidas sneaker fan, with a killer collection of Sambas and Gazelles.
CLOT was founded in Hong Kong in June 2003 by Chen and Kevin Poon, and has become a pioneering force in streetwear. It is known for bridging Eastern and Western cultures, infusing classic designs with elements of traditional Chinese heritage, as seen in its silky, embroidered takes on Adidas’ signature footwear.
While Timmy’s CLOT kicks are on sale for about $199, Garfy’s are pretty much sold out. You can, however, grab a pair from sneaker reseller Goat, where a size 11 is available for $213.
