THERE’S A LOT happening in Melbourne during Formula 1 weekend. On track, obviously – but also very much off it. The city fills up quickly with people who have flown in for the race, the restaurants are impossible to book, and every night seems to end somewhere slightly louder than where it started.

On Saturday, that somewhere was Belvedere’s Garage Party.

The vodka brand – now the official vodka partner of Formula 1 – took over a luxury car garage and turned it into a late-night playground of suspended cars, martini towers and a dancefloor that didn’t really quiet down. Tame Impala’s Kevin Parker stepped behind the decks for a one-night-only DJ set, and the crowd (a mix of Melbourne’s fashion, music and creative scene) happily stayed put.

The chill, groovy, Australian music powerhouse delivered an electrifying set, just ahead of his upcoming global tour. Reflecting on the experience afterwards, Parker said: “I had so much fun DJing at the Belvedere Garage Party. Was stoked to see everyone dancing. Hope they’ll have me back next time. The whole thing looked pretty epic.”

Among those spotted moving through the concrete space were Australian model and musician Sarah Ellen, DJ KSMBA, actor Tim Kano, creatives Riley Hemson and Yasmin Suteja, and the Piastri sisters – Hattie, Edie and Mae – fresh off the weekend’s racing buzz.

Parked at the centre of the party was Belvedere’s new limited-edition Formula 1 bottle, unveiled alongside a full-scale F1 car – a fitting centrepiece for a night that leaned into the whole speed-meets-style energy of race weekend.

The Belvedere Organic Vodka F1® Edition Bottle is now available at selected retailers across Australia, including a 1L bottle available exclusively through Dan Murphy’s, and a 700ml bottle stocked at Dan Murphy’s, BWS and Liquorland.
