Breitling just quietly launched the most luxurious Navitimer watch yet
The Swiss luxury watchmaker has launched a full platinum version of their flagship model

LAST WEEK, Breitling launched a brand-new Navitimer chronograph inspired by the Concorde, the supersonic jet that has become the enduring symbol of the golden age of aviation. However, amid all the excitement, another Navitimer might have flown under your radar – and we think it’s just as worthy of attention.
The Navitimer B19 Chronograph 43 Perpetual Calendar is the other watch from the Swiss luxury watchmaker that hit the market last week, and, at $74,990, it’s one of the most expensive and suitably luxurious timepieces that they’ve put out in quite a while.

After being introduced in 2024 for a special edition, the Caliber B19 movement, the brand’s first in-house perpetual calendar movement, was added to Breitling’s main line, and this iteration ups the ante with a complete platinum design. The case, bezel frame, crown and pushers, are all crafted from the premium metal, and if that doesn’t convince you that the timepiece is as luxurious as they come, then the details of the B19 movement surely will.
A perpetual calendar movement is complicated enough, knowing precisely how many days each month has, even during a leap year, but the four sub-dials on this watch, combined with its chronograph functionality, provide even more information for the most precise timekeeping you’ll find on a modern watch.

At the 3 o’clock marker, the sub-dial has a 31-day outer track managed by the perpetual calendar and a 30-minute totaliser on the inside; at 6 o’clock, the outer rim displays the month, while the inner accounts for leap years, and at 9 o’clock, the outside displays the day of the week with a 60-minute totaliser on the inside. To round it all off, a moon-phase sub-dial with the Breitling logo sits just beneath the 12 o’clock marker.
Yes, it’s easily one of the most elegant-looking Navitimers that Breitling have ever put out, made from the most premium materials, but the technological side of this perpetual calendar chronograph is just as, if not even more, impressive. And we expect nothing less from the best of the best luxury watchmakers.
