LEVEL ONE at Chatswood Chase has levelled up the luxury retail experience. The centre’s new dedicated luxury floor, opened in April as part of an expanded partnership with LVMH, means Hermès, Louis Vuitton and Dior now sit within a few steps of each other – a concentration of brands the North Shore hasn’t had reason to expect before, and one that’s still filling out by the month.

That partnership has also brought Loewe, Celine, Bvlgari, Chaumet, Rimowa and Fred to the centre, alongside Moncler, Jaeger-LeCoultre and Emporio Armani. Cartier and Omega have since joined the floor, filling out the watch-and-jewellery end of the precinct.

“Today marks the start of a new chapter for Chatswood Chase,” said Peter Huddle, Vicinity Centres’ CEO and Managing Director, at the April opening, pointing to what Vicinity describes as 23 luxury brands now under one roof. Those brands sit inside a wider centre of more than 200 retailers, though it’s Level One has arguably become the jewel in an already dazzling crown. One that includes a Serpenti counter, courtesy of Bvlgari.

For Vicinity, whose portfolio also includes Chadstone and the Queen Victoria Building, Chatswood Chase is a wager that the Lower North Shore has the appetite for a concentration of brands usually reserved for CBD foot traffic, around Westfield Sydney, Castlereagh Street and the wider luxury district, including the QVB (also a Vicinity property).

Amy Wotton, the company’s General Manager of Brand & Marketing, calls the April launch just the start: “The opening of Level One realises our ambition to establish a globally relevant luxury destination and marks the beginning of an ongoing journey, powered by our valued partnerships and designed to continually enhance the way customers experience Chatswood Chase.”

The individual stores have created their own tailored experiences for shoppers to discover as they wander the centre. Louis Vuitton’s new boutique uses natural timber flooring and furniture chosen to nod at Sydney, alongside its usual leather goods, travel pieces and fragrance counter. Dior’s boutique is finished in luminous tones and Versailles-style parquet, with an abstract work commissioned from Australian artist Gregory Hodge.

Loewe’s store arrives timed to its Paula’s Ibiza 2026 collection, a seasonal edit built around basketry and crochet. Jaeger-LeCoultre’s boutique is operated by Australian luxury watch and jewellery retailer House of Kennedy.

On the ground, personal styling through David Jones, concierge assistance and private appointments inside individual boutiques form part of the service offer. A dedicated speed ramp from Archer Street takes drivers directly to the Level One valet, while participating luxury stores can arrange for purchases to be delivered to the cars of valet customers.

Tiffany & Co., Burberry, Rolex, Dolce & Gabbana, Hermès and House of Kennedy have now completed the original winter rollout. Saint Laurent and Canada Goose are the next names scheduled to join the precinct.
