MAUI JIM is continuing its partnership with Oracle Red Bull Racing as the Formula 1 team enters a new phase in the sport’s technical development. The premium eyewear brand remains the team’s official sunglasses partner, supplying its PolarizedPlus2 lenses and signature frames to drivers, engineers and pit crew across the global race calendar.

The collaboration links two brands known for tapping into high-performance and adrenalin-fuelled environments or experiences. Founded in 2005, Oracle Red Bull Racing, has become one of the most successful teams in the modern Formula 1 era, while Maui Jim built its reputation on optical technology designed to reduce glare and enhance clarity in bright outdoor conditions. Their eyewear has become the go-to for those who like to live on the edge, spend time outdoors and get a little active on the weekend. And those who simply prefer their eyewear to be of elite quality.

As part of the partnership, Maui Jim has also released a Racing Capsule collection. The range includes new colourways of the Ho‘okipa Ultra frame, an update of one of the brand’s long-running sport models. One version features a Hawaii Lava red mirror lens with orange temple tips, while another uses a Blue Hawaii mirror lens with yellow temple tips inspired by Oracle Red Bull Racing’s colours.

The capsule also introduces the Haulani frame, which takes cues from the aerodynamic silhouette of the racecar’s sidepods. Both styles use Maui Jim’s SuperThin Glass lenses, designed to deliver crisp visual detail while remaining lightweight enough for extended wear in outdoor conditions.

The partnership has also expanded beyond the paddock of Albert Park into Melbourne Park during the Formula 1 weekend with the Aloha Club, a fan activation hosted by Maui Jim within the Moomba Festival precinct. The event will run from Thursday, 5 March to Sunday, 8 March and the pop-up is designed as an accessible fan zone for visitors who may not be attending the Grand Prix itself.

The Aloha Club brings elements of the race weekend into the city through a series of interactive brand experiences and displays linked to the Oracle Red Bull Racing partnership. Located within the broader Moomba Festival program, it offers fans a way to engage with the team and the eyewear collection while the Formula 1 circus is in town.

For Melbourne visitors and local fans, the installation provides an easy way to experience the irace atmosphere without needing a ticket to Albert Park.
