The best watches we spotted at the 2026 Met Gala
The year's biggest fashion event also had some of the year's best watch moments

THE MET GALA is without a doubt the biggest event on the fashion calendar: celebrities turn up in the most elaborately-styled outfits, often causing many of the year’s buzziest fashion moments. But what is a good outfit without a distinguished watch to round it off?
So far this year, many of the best men’s red carpet looks at events such as the Oscars and the Actor Awards have been completed by the perfect watch; Hudson Williams’ sleek Bulgari Serpenti, Best Actor-winner Michael B. Jordan’s classic yellow gold Piaget 9297, the list goes on and on.
With this year’s Met Gala dress code of ‘Fashion is Art’, we expected nothing less than bold, beautiful watches to live up to the theme. Read on to see our pick of the best watches from the 2026 Met Gala…
All the best watches from the 2026 Met Gala red carpet

Luke Evans
Welsh actor Luke Evans completed his Tom of Finland-inspired look with a Hublot Big Bang that had diamonds set into the bezel.

Al Sharpton
Civil rights activist Al Sharpton’s gold-dial Rolex Day Date perfectly rounded off his look, and co-ordinated with the pinstripes on his suit.

Tyriq Withers
If there’s one thing that the Gen Z fashion it-boys love, it’s a square watch. Tyriq Withers sported a Jaeger-LeCoultre Reverso on a mesh stainless steel bracelet, which stood out against his otherwise stark all-black look.

Connor Storrie
Connor Storrie’s all-black Saint Laurent look, with a polka dot sleeveless top and train, was brought to the next level with a true statement watch: an Omega Constellation Observatory in 18-carat moonshine gold. Luxury at its finest.

Rami Malek
A lesson in being quietly disruptive, Rami Malek used shapes and texture for the flair in his all-black look, and the Cartier Crash (with one of the most distinctively-shaped dial’s on the market) played a major role in that.

Paul Anthony Kelly
Love Story breakout star Paul Anthony Kelly took to the carpet in a chic, minimal Dior look, bringing out a Vacheron Constantin Overseas Tourbillon that matched the deep colour of his jacket to round it all off.

Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson
The Rock has seriously upped his watch game over the last year, and this hyper-luxurious Jacob & Co. Billionaire III (a skeleton watch set with more than 700 diamonds) is easily the most impressive timepiece he’s sported to date.
