Pedro Pascal's ON Cloudtilt sneakers are the perfect everyday shoe
Light and bouncy, the Zürich-based brand’s cult sneakers are designed solely for walking

HE MAY BE a Hollywood red carpet stalwart, but Pedro Pascal is one of us. Away from the premieres and custom suits, he’s become a poster child for the kind of low-key, run-around-town wear that we all resort to from time to time. Over the past few months he’s been spotted, usually in New York City, prioritising comfort-first staples like his trusty Canada Goose jacket and baggy sweatpants. The kind of outfit you pull on for a Sunday morning Tesco run, in other words.
This weekend, the Chilean-American actor, fresh off his Super Bowl cameo, was again seen flexing an easy off-duty look, this time showing off his downtime sneakers (as well as a beaten up Chanel bag). On his feet were a pair of On’s Cloudtilts, specifically the ON Cloudtilt in ‘Sand Cream’, a lesser-known shoe from the Swiss brand (most serious runners and tech bros own a variation of the CloudBursts).
The special thing about the sneakers is that they’re intended for all-day city walking. Launched in 2023, they marked a pivot in On’s strategy, as they were the first precision-engineered shoes introduced purely for the pavements; until then the brand had released performance shoes geared towards beating a PB. Less tech-heavy than runners, the Cloudtilt feature a CloudTec Phase midsole for a smooth tread and tilted “down Clouds” for extra cushioning when you’re strolling the streets Pascal-style.
They’re also pretty handsome. The Cloudtilts have a fuss-free design and come in neutral colourways, as seen on Pascal, while all elements are fused rather than sewn, so the uppers are neat and tidy.

That being said, like other On designs, they’re not the cheapest shoe out there at $276, but we reckon they’re worth forking out on. Comfort first, after all. Plus, Pedro Pascal wears them. What more reason do you need?
