The Want List: What caught the Esquire team's eye this week
The Esquire guide to a great weekend

WHAT TO DO, what to read, what to wear, what to burn some cash on. Every week the Esquire team round up the things that have caught our eye across the cities and online.
From fragrances to films, a sneaker or a sneaky pint at a new bar, here are our picks for of the week.

Acqua Di Parma Colonia Il Profumo Millesimato
The archetypal cologne has undergone a slight restructure as part of an anniversary release celebrating 110 years of the iconic fragrance. The familiar citrus are given extra weight via a dose of ylang ylang acquired from a 2024 harvest in Madagascar. It’s richer, creamier but retains that lightness of the cologne structure. It’s also a limited edition so get in while you can.

Dior Archie Loafer
Jonathan Anderson has already marked his relatively short time at Dior with early icons. From a footwear perspective, the Archie Loafer delivers all the things we want from a shoe: relaxed yet elevated, versatile and comfortable. The details recall that of a moccasin while the raised stitching a shout out Roger Vivier’s pieces that were taken from the Dior archives. The reason we love them so is how easily they can travel from shorts and day time to something more formal in the evening.

Grill Americano Sydey Caffé
Last year, Sydney locals were treated to the arrival of banger Melbourne eatery Grill Americano. To say it was welcomed with open arms is an understatement. On 2 February, the restaurant is extended their reach to open a Grill Americano Caffè in at 1 Chifley Square.
Open from 7am until 3pm weekdays and selling $2 espressos alongside pastries and lunch bites, your next office snack run is locked in.

Prada Re-Nylon and leather backpack
To borrow a quote from the masterpiece that is 10 Things I Hate About You, “There’s a difference between like and love. Because, I like my Skechers, but I love my Prada backpack.”
Backpacks aren’t just for the youth – they’re practical solutions to carting around our daily necessities. This particular one from Prada is crafted from recycled nylon, with leather detailing. Durable, practical, desirable. Done.

‘It Was An Accident’
Do yourself a favour and go see this film. In an actual cinema. The kind where you have to put your phone on silent and keep it in your pocket. Try immersing yourself completely in the story from Iranian director Jafar Panahi.
Enjoy a choc-top while you’re at it.

Facial At All Saints Clinic
It’s been a big week braving and the heat in Melbourne as we watched some seriously good tennis at the Australian Open – not to mention the great food and perhaps a little more champagne than required. But the good times have definitely left our skin looking worse for wear.
To undo some of the damage, a facial at All Saints Clinic is in order. In particular, the HydraFacial Treatment. A back to basics, no fuss but effective cleanse, extract and hydrate.

Archie Rose Mountain Yuzu Harvest Gin
I confess, I do love a good yuzu. I also enjoy a gin, so hearing that the team at Archie Rose had combined the two felt like destiny.
Flavour is full of citrus – a rare gin that, personally, feels easy enough to sip on the rocks, maybe garnished with a bit of basil. But it also makes for a great summer cocktail base.
