WHAT TO DO, what to read, what to wear, what to burn some cash on. Every week the Esquire team round up the things that have caught our eye across the cities and online to keep you in great taste and style…

It’s a good day whenever our notifications light up with the announcement of a new Song For The Mute drop and the arrival of a SFTM x adidas Originals sneaker is basically our Christmas. While buzz around Apple’s Duo dominated the tech scene, our eyes fell on the new Hermès Apple Watch Ultra for obvious reasons, as well as a perfect champagne cooler courtesy Ralph Lauren.

Check out the list below for this week’s The Want List.

An Hermès Apple Watch Ultra

Anyone who has tried to stretch a watch strap over a wetsuit sleeve with cold fingers will appreciate this one.

The new Apple Watch Hermès Ultra comes with a titanium Grand H band fitted with a clever mechanism, so you can resize it in one move, whether you’re wearing it on bare skin or over neoprene.

Then there’s the dive-ready watchface, offered in four shades of blue, with a depth gauge and a little diver following a line down into the deep. Flick your wrist and the scene moves. Look for the orange hidden in all that blue.

These Song For The Mute x adidas Originals sneakers

One word – SAMBA. Chapter 008 of the collaboration between the Australian brand and the iconic sportswear brand takes our favourite sneaker silhouette of all time and brings that SFTM touch to it. The touch being a collapsable heel.

A bottle of The Macallan, 18yo

Yes.

This Kartik Research linen blazer

A blazer has no reason to be basic when the talents of New Delhi-based brand Kartik Research are making garments this beautiful.

A bottle of Kerylos by L’Objet

One of the newer brands to arrive at Libertine Parfumerie, Kerylos was created by Hermès’ former in-house nose, Jean-Claude Ellena. Immediate tick.

But the main reason we’ve added it to the Want List is how it avoids being a typical summer, Mediterranean-inspired scent. Juicy, tart black currant and oily grapefruit with notes of grass and galbanum make for what can only be described as a sparkling wood. Another win from a master.

This Tommy Hilfiger baseball cap

Protect yourself from the sun and look good while doing it.

The “antiqued” Prada leather belt

This was on our wish list since we spotted it on the F/W 26 runway.

The elongated design is intended to be tied at the waist rather than buckled. Time to realise a belt can be as much as a statement detail to your wardrobe as a great blazer.

A Ralph Lauren champagne cooler

It’s summer so keeping champagne – or a really good fiano even – on ice is of utmost importance. Naturally, it has to look good, too.

Enter the Wyatt Double Champagne Cooler by Ralph Lauren. Made from stainless steel with leather handles, every glass will be glacial.
