WELL, THIS IS GOING to be a long list. With the 2025 Met Gala dress-code, ‘Tailoring For You’, it’s hard for this year’s attendees to go wrong beyond a sharp, killer suit.
But the precedence of menswear (the first time in more than 20 years to take focus) goes beyond the sartorial. The dress-code is related to the Met exhibition, ‘Superfine: Tailoring Black Style’, which celebrates the black dandy, resistance, and individuality. First on the steps are co-chairs Pharrell, Colman Domingo and Lewis Hamilton, who all embody this expression.
